Whistling in the workplace apparently - but I think I sound really good.

Pretending to go outside for fresh air and coming back to the office with chocolates from Swirls.

What Rob has done in his MANY years of experience!

Rob King is one of those natural marketers, he just knows what works! After 26 successful years in the media he left to help Beck with her growing marketing consultancy and has never looked back.

He  brings to the company a wealth of knowledge gained across a number of key roles specialising in customer service, sales, sales training, marketing and project management with Fairfax Media.

As Circulation Manager of two of the countries largest regional newspapers he was widely sought after in this field. He facilitated the first fully subscriber paid digital edition for Australian regional newspapers, which has grown as a profitable revenue stream and important component of products offered by Fairfax.

June 2015 saw the completion of a ground-breaking 2-year project which involved migrating billing of all subscribers to Fairfax and moving them from in arrears to in advance. Setting up a solid subscription base for the future.  He implemented the distribution of the bi-monthly tourism publication Travelways to the ACT, regional Victoria and NSW.

Earlier in his career he developed strong sales acumen based on keen listening skills, product matching and genuinely wanting to grow his clients business. After a number of years of sales success he was given the task of training new sales people to the team.

As a member of the senior management team for 8 years he was involved in the strategic direction of the business and the transformation to digital publishing as traditional print stream revenue diminished.
